High Priced Quality Toddler Products Do Not Always Equal Toddler Practicality

When it comes to buying consumables for toddlers, high priced and reputedly high quality is not always the most practical way to go.

Our toddlers have slowly moved through the toilet training stage and to help them along, we purchased toddler 'training' pants. Essentially they are disposable nappies with elastic around the legs so they can be pulled up and down like underwear.

As far as convenience goes, they are great. For a toddler, they fill that gap between a nappy and underwear. For the parents, there are no 'accidents' to clean up.

Here in the land down under (Australia), we only have three or four brands of disposable nappies. One brand, the leading brand in nappies and the most expensive on the market, have good quality disposable nappies, apart from the seams which tend to pop open to easily.

What I have found interesting is that the cheapest brand, Mamia, available from Aldi, are by far the most practical. They have good absorption for those accidents, they are the strongest when it comes to side seams, and for our toddlers, appear to be the most comfortable.

Sometime, the most expensive brand isn't the most practical. Just because something comes from a top brand company doesn't mean all their products are best.

And in case anyone is wondering, this is not a paid post, it is an observation from personal experience. I would be interested in hearing your recommendations as well (you can leave a brand name so long as you don't spam me - honest opinions only).
