Yes, I'm 51 and have a 5-year old daughter. I've certainly received the same grandfather references but I just matter-of-factly respond that she's my daughter and I move on. It would have been nice to be a dad earlier on in my life but I'm sure glad I'm having the opportunity to experience this even now.
