There really does need to be more help out there for families that actually keeps them together.

It wasn't all that long ago we were in a similar situation, but those who did help us did so in a way to keep the family unit together.

If this man was where we are living, I'd have helped him to find a solution to keeping his family together, even upgrading our house (more bedrooms please!) to keep them all together under the one roof.

Stories like this are just tragic, and yet, there are many people out there who would think he was selfish. To them I say, he has done this out of love. All he needs now is to get himself sorted and then he will be able to keep going with his family. Even the 'good' parents need help from time to time.
