I heartily agree that your time is the best gift. In my life (I'm now 55), it's the time and conversations I had with my parents that I remember the most. All other things fade away from memory in light of those great gifts. My parents knew how to love us completely, and they passed that along so that we love our own children completely. This means correction when needed, but also support and friendship and comfort.
