While doing my usual rounds of the net I came across a link to two sites that I think are well worth looking at.
The first site has valuable information on missing children including information on how to find children taken by one of the parents. The site also includes photos of missing children. What I found really interesting are the age adjusted photos where they have taken a photo of the child and then digitally aged them to today. The site is called Missing Children Blog dot com.
The second site promotes teens that have runaway from home. The site includes photos and physical descriptions for each of the teens. It also includes possible destinations for them. You never know, the teen packing your groceries, serving you your fries of pumping your gas may just be one of these runaways. Visit the site and have a browse. This site is called Runaway Teens dot Org.

runnaways go to libraries to use the free web. My Daughter only traveled by jumping trains. Yhese children are very organized. They have web sites. Hobo.com, Rainbow children. coom. Homeless teens on My space .com.
When searching on my space , put in their nicknames, their location, all conversations will pop up. Examole..

My daughter traveled half the US on Trains, with other teens, they have clinics, clothing shelters for teens in large cities, Seattle, Portland , San Fransisco. Make sure your missing childrens info with your local PD is correct. They had my daughters wrong eye color, and hair color was wrong. Include their alaus name, and if they are traveling with someone...Photos are very important. Put their photo on every missing child website, thats what an Oakland Police officer told me!!
Put posters up in the area your child went missing , with
your phone number, most law enforcement agencies don/t care or have time to follow thru. The first 48 hours call airports, bus lines, check and save phone bills with numbedrs, review web sites used. Talk to teachers friends any one your child had contact with. CALL all Agencies FBI, State Police, Sheriff, Missing Children networks!!
Fax photos, or Email Photo to nearby states...
Never give up on finding your missing or runnaway
children, they are scared and confused, and sometimes mislead by other teens. Adults will also house teens, they have them sell drugs, this happens alot in Northern CA.
