Yesterday we published the Top Ten Father Sites According To Alexa - today it is the top ten mother sites. There are 246 sites listed as 'mother' sites.

There is one thing I have noticed - all sites listed seem to have DMOZ entries. I don't know if that just coincidence. It is something that I am going to check on.

In the meantime, here are the top ten mother sites according to Alexa.

2. Salon Mothers Who Think - Magazine for smart, timely, lively original reporting and commentary on news and politics, business and entertainment, culture, and life.

3. Moms Who Think - Smart, Hip, Connected Women s community and Ezine.

4. Modern Mom - News, tips and advice for today s women.

5. 5 Minutes For Mom - Bringing Moms the Best in Blogging, Shopping, Parenting and Entertainment.

6. What's That Smell? - The adventures in life and parenting of 2 accidental mommies.

7. Mommy Savers - Frugal living for thrifty stay at home Moms.

8. Mom Central - Support and advice for moms through forums, product reviews, articles and new mom information.

9. Table for Five - Life of SAHM Elizabeth, her husband, two boys and toddler daughter.

10. Mom Advice - Articles on parenting, frugal living, saving money, work at home opportunities, inexpensive recipes, and tips for organizing your life.

As with the father sites yesterday, some are commercial in nature and several are just good old fashioned blogs. Having visited them all, yes a dad spying on mom sites, they are all worth visiting. They are obviously well respected and well visited to rank in the top ten out of over 200 sites. These are world ranking BTW, not country specific.
