A new section for my blog - Quick and Interesting Facts. Here is today's offering.
One disposable nappy manufacturer has estimated that the average child goes through 6,000 disposable nappy changes before finally graduating to training pants. For many parents, that's about 5,000 disposable nappy too many.
Not only is that 5,000 too many - multiply that by the number of babies in any given area and we are talking hundreds of thousands of disposable nappies filling our garbage systems. If Bush really wanted to get rid of the terrorists around the world, forget the atomic bomb, just load a plane full of used disposable nappies and dump them on the enemy camps. Solve two problems in one, we don't have to find garbage dumps and the terrorists would surrender withing a month - don't believe me - have a good whiff of a used newborns nappy, multiply it by 1000, add a nice warm day - I don't want to think about it anymore!
